So we talked about the need for cuts at the bottom end. And laid out some metrics by which we will trim the less productive members from the team, in favor of new players that can prove themselves.
And we made some painful cuts this week, saying goodbye to members that we had hoped would do better. But a rule is a rule right?
Well not exactly!! You see we also understand that we live in a world of variables which cannot all be accounted for with rules. And so while we have said good bye to some, there was at least one individual that we felt needed to be given more time to respond and get out of the bottom of the ladder. That person typifies what we can only call, an exception to the rule. This person led
our club from start to finish last week with over 8B on the ladder. And so we wait and hope that (s)he returns back to prior form.
That being said, we won’t wait for ever. The exception will eventually gravitate back to the mean or rule. And we will have to say good bye!
In the mean time, grab a cold one and stay thirsty my friends!!!
